What did you do this past week?

This week wasn’t too exciting for me. Due to the corona virus, I have been spending my free time inside of my house. What I do inside varies as sometimes I would nap and other times I would start my homework early.

What’s in your way?

The main thing that is in my way is staying motivated to finish everything with all classes moving online. Not having a single class be attended in real life anymore brings up a challenge if staying motivated and on top of everything for every class.

What will you do next week?

Next week, I plan to have already started and finish most if not all of Darwin project. Finishing things early before they are due takes away a lot of the stress if I was finishing it near the deadline. For non school related things, I plan to continue practicing safe social distancing and do whatever I can individually to help end this pandemic.

What was your experience of Test #1-b?

Overall, I had a good experience about test 1-b. The beginning was very stressful because no one could log into zoom at the time. I believe I ended up joining a little bit later than everyone else when I finally figured out what was not working for me. Despite joining a group a little bit later than everyone else, I was still able to catch up to the rest of the group and be able to discuss the test questions with them. My group members were very nice and it was a great experience being able to work with them.

What made you happy this week?

Being able to get enough sleep has made me happy this week. All of my classes that occur early in the morning all have pre recorded lectures to watch. This has allowed me to sleep in a little bit longer and wake up more refreshed than what I was used to before online classes.

What is your tip-of-the-week?

My tip of the week is to think about the rest of society when quarantined. I imagine that I am not alone in occasionally getting cranky of being forced to stay inside and not interact with people. By thinking about other people, we can remind ourselves about why we have to stay inside which can help this whole thing pass more quickly. I know I am not the only one out there wanting our lives to return to normal.
