What did you do this past week?

This past week, I have just been settling back in to the swing of things with school. I feel more prepared this semester for online classes than I did back when quarantine first started.

What’s in your way?

One thing that is still in the way for me is creating motivation to stay ahead during online school. Normally for me, the process of getting up and walking to class keeps me more engaged than it currently is now.

What will you do next week?

Next week, I will be working and finishing up on the Collatz project.

What was your experience of assertions, unit tests, and coverage?

I had a good experience with these, professor Downing was very thorough with explaining everything and it allowed me to easily understand everything.

How are you doing and holding up? What’s been most helpful for you in terms of support at this time?

Right now I am doing pretty good, class hasn’t been too rough right now but I know that it will pick up from here. All my TA’s and professors seem really nice and I know that I can count on them if I need help during the semester.

What made you happy this week?

The first full week of class was done and it was really satisfying being back in school and getting back into the swing of things. My roommate continues to work hard at Pappasito’s and it makes me really happy seeing him strive towards his goals.

What’s your pick-of-the-week or tip-of-the-week?

My tip of the week is to start the project early! It is never fun to procrastinate and if you start early, you will have more time to seek help if needed.
